Elder Bateiti

The typhoon washed everything out.  Our apartment roof of the laundry room is gone.  Some other houses wash out and only the floor is left.  I am so sad seeing people here this way.  If this typhoon comes to Kiribati, I don't know if everyone would survive it.  We have been mopping after the typhoon was gone.  It's really sad.  This is how it looks after the storm comes.  The trees are destroyed with no leaves left and some of the branches are collapsed.  That is a school building where some people are evacuated to.  Right now we have been washing our laundry with our hands but it's all good.  I have been used to it. Haha.  And I already know how to fetch water carrying water jugs to our apartment for a shower hahaha.  I'm just trying to focus on the work.  I just tell myself to forget myself.
